The Jekt Trade Museum / Jektefartsmuseet

The Jekt Trade museum tells the story of the rugged coastal culture and the history of how the jekts were responsible for transporting goods from Northern Norway and large parts of the western coast for over 400 years! We offer experiences and reflections. You will learn about the challenges and life on board, the history of stockfish trade, power and powerlessness, profit and risks - all while experiencing the scent of tar and stockfish.
The ticket includes:
- Entrance to the exhibition
- Guided tours (at specific times)
- Access to activities in Hunstadhuset.
